Thank you for considering Ralph Hirschkorn Child Care Center for your child’s early childhood education and care. We are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for every child who walks through our doors. Below you will find important information about our enrollment process.

Enrollment Process

The New Child Care Application is now completed using an online portal called MyCity.

If you plan on completing the application at home, please follow the steps below.

  • Click the link above
  • Scroll down to Child Care Assistance and Click Apply Now
  • Scroll down to Contracted Care and select contracted care
  • You will be redirected to the log in page where you must create an account
  • After you create the account follow all steps on the website.
  • You will be asked to upload supporting documentation such as
    • Paystubs/Proof of income
    • Birth Certificates
    • Proof of address
    • Etc.
  • If you run into any difficulties, please follow the steps below

Ms. Lisa is the intake coordinator and here to assist all families through the process.

If you need assistance from Ms. Lisa, you must call and make an appointment (718) 327-1141. (Appointments can take about 1 hour with all documentation being provided prior to your scheduled appointment)

Prior to your appointment the following documentation must be scanned and emailed to Ms. Lisa at Rhccclisa@hotmail.com

  • Birth Certificates for all children under the age of 18
  • Proof of address (Utility bill, lease, Valid license/ID with correct address, or rent receipt)
    • If you do not have any of the proofs listed above you must complete a residency attestation form
  • Proof of Income with Pay Stub
    • Paystubs weekly-(4) current paystubs if Gross amount is the same
    • Paystubs weekly- (12) current paystubs if Gross varies
    • Paystubs bi-weekly (2) current paystubs if Gross amount is the same
    • Paystubs bi-weekly (6) current paystubs if Gross varies
  • If you get paid by cash – The Gross payroll information for the past three months Must Be Filled Out by Your Employer.
    • The Form is called a 1069 (CFWB-015) it can be picked up at the school or downloaded from the MyCity website listed above.

If you cannot scan or email the documentation listed above then you must drop off all of the required documents 1-2 days before your scheduled appointment.
