Facilities
The Ralph Hirschkorn Child Care Center (RHCCC) is more than 12,000 square feet and is comprised of 5 classrooms and an indoor play area. Our classrooms are designed around clear and focused hands-on learning centers which provide a variety of both teacher directed and student lead activities. Our centers include Science and discovery, Math, dramatic play, Art, Music, block area, Computers, writing, language, library and listening.
Our indoor play area is great for rainy cold days. We have basketball hoops, balls, tumbling mats and a variety of equipment to keep the kids engaged and active.
We understand the importance of outdoor play and are fortunate to have three age-appropriate, safe playgrounds. Our playgrounds are designed to not only encourage physical development but also foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills through individual and group play.
We also have bikes, basketball hoops, jump ropes, hula-hoops, and sand and water tables to encourage both fine and gross motor development.
We have an outdoor dining area where kids can eat lunch or snack, read books, and create art with a variety of materials found outside or provided by the teacher. Each table has a large shade umbrella to protect the children from the sun.
